The Coppid Beech Hotel is a four star property, located in Bracknell, Berkshire. We are a privately owned hotel, and part of the Nike Group of Companies Ltd. The hotel has 205 bedrooms, 11 function rooms, Rowans restaurant, brasserie restaurant, Lounge Bar, leisure suite and nightclub.
We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Conference and Banqueting Manager to get involved in every aspect of operational activities relating to our weddings, private events and business meetings. Working alongside the Meeting & Events Operation Manager, this is a hands on role that will see you assisting in every aspect of an event from room set up to the running, as well as supervising the team. You will uphold the highest standards, ensuring that the level of service provided is conducive within our four star hotel. As a supervisor, you may occasionally be required to work in our various other Food & Beverage outlets, so a flexible approach is expected.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer service are pre-requisites for the position. The role is demanding and previous experience working in a conference and banqueting and other F&B areas is essential.
The ideal candidate will already have at least 1-2 years experience within an operational conference department; preferably with supervisory experience, but this could equally suit somebody ready for their first step into a junior management role.
This role is hours as required over 5 days a week, varying shifts on a rota basis.
