Looking towards a season of expectations

Following a time of leisurely, perhaps even lethargic, spring and summer pursuits - after all, garden walks in the spring and lazing on the beach in summer are so very relaxing - it is now time to prepare for the winter sports activities that John Nike Leisuresport can bring to you.
For sheer energetic enjoyment, following the Bracknell Bees ice hockey team and Thames Valley Tigers basketball team is a must. If you are not already a season ticket holder of the Bees then you need to get your skates on! Similarly, becoming a Tigers season ticket holder will make you jump for joy when you see a great dunk. I am sure that everyone who follows the Bees and the Tigers will be looking forward to seeing how the teams fare this season. I have great expectancy, as always, and I am sure our supporters share this feeling. As you will read on page 9 of this edition, a few changes have been made and the coaches and teams are gunning for success.
If your interest is in the education of your children, the development schools in Bracknell for basketball, ice hockey, figure skating or skiing can provide you with continuous enjoyment as you see your kids' progress. Enquiries should be made at the John Nike Leisuresport complex reception desk.
Of course, for me this is a favourite time of the year- the ski season is upon us and already the adrenaline is rising as I consider the skiing resorts for my winter and early spring vacations. New look showroom fits the image

A new retail experience awaits customers of Octagon Toyota in Reading, following a major refurbishment at the Rose Kiln Lane showroom.
Combining the latest design techniques, the dealership now boasts a more accessible vehicle display with comfortable customer waiting areas, including a children's play area, tea and coffee machines, Dreamcast games console and television.
On arrival, customers are greeted by a host who will ensure that the appropriate staff member - whether sales, service, parts or accessories - is on hand to help.
The refurbishment was completed in just three months and ensures that the dealership fits in with Toyota's pan European corporate image.
Customers visiting the Reading showroom can see the entire Toyota range of cars and light commercial vehicles displayed in the bright, new surroundings and test drives can be easily arranged. Customers requiring servicing or repairs are welcome to visit the Rose Kiln Lane centre or, alternatively, they can arrange for their cars to be picked up from home or the office.
